My New Paper on Carbon Nanotubes: A Deep Dive into Their Incredible Strength

I am thrilled to announce the publication of my comprehensive review paper, "Mechanochemistry and mechanical properties of carbon nanotubes: Advances in experimental, theoretical, and computational understanding." This work synthesizes decades of research, revealing exceptional mechanical characteristics like Young’s moduli up to 1.8 TPa and tensile strengths exceeding 100 GPa. We explore unique deformation mechanisms, theoretical frameworks, and modern approaches like machine learning for predictive nanomaterial design. This paper is particularly special t...

Dreams Unveiled: Meeting Edward Witten in the World of 'Magic, Mystery, and Matrix'

Edward Witten [ ias.edu/sns/witten ] In the realm of dreams last night, something truly extraordinary unfolded—I found myself in the presence of the eminent theoretical physicist Edward Witten, whose enlightening article, "Magic, Mystery, and Matrix," had occupied my thoughts the day before. As I slumbered, the boundaries between wakefulness and reverie blurred, and there he stood, the very architect of the captivating ideas I had explored in his article. This serendipitous encounter in the dream world filled me with profound joy, as I realized I had been granted the unique chanc...

Study of Infrared Nebula continued...

This is my second paper in the infrared study of Nebula. We elucidated whether this nebula is star-forming or not, whether it satisfies the cosmological principle or not, and many more... Please find more in the paper below!

Second Paper in a row: Infrared Study of Nebulas!!

This is my first paper in Infrared astronomy. I once did some small projects under eminent field experts of Nepal in the DASN workshop organized by the Nepal Astronomical Society. This was the time when I first met Prof. Uday Raj Khanal, the only theoretical physicist (Cosmology) in Nepal! I had a great time in the workshop. Special thanks to Suresh Sir, Chairman of NASO!

My first paper on Nanotubes - CNT

Fig: HOMO-LUMOorbitals of CNT Please find the paper below where we (including my supervisors) have successfully carried out COGEF on carbon nanotubes. We studied the mechanochemical properties- elasticity, force-extension curves, rupture force, rupture distance and all- of CNT. We expect to collaborate further and extend this research work in future. Please find the paper below.

As a tutor on Scientific Typesetting

We two friends (me and Ramchandra) were tutors on SCIENTIFIC TYPESETTING held on September 5-7, 2018, Research Management Cell, Prithivi Narayan Campus, Pokhara, Nepal. We held one day workshop on LaTeX and started the program with fundamental building blocks of coding. Below is the handout that we used during our program, please feel free to have a look!

Conservation Theorems and Symmetries

This is the presentation that I gave as an assignment for Classical Mechanics. Here, I have explained the notion of symmetries and their corresponding conservation laws. Moreover, a chaotic system like the double pendulum is also discussed.
